POWER NOTES – BASIC OUTLINES
An outline is the framework or skeleton of the study material. The purpose of an outline is to give you a holistic view of the material, determine relationships and patterns between various topics, and condense multiple lectures to just a few pages.
Your ultimate goal should be to ‘beef’ up the skeleton to where you have just about everything you need on it. If done correctly, there shouldn’t be a need to go back to the textbook or power point lecture during ‘crunch time’ (after all, if you’re planning a weekend full of cramming, do you really want to click through 200 slides for four courses?). I know I don’t! Just imagine the ease and stress free method of whipping out that mindmap with confidence knowing it has everything you need… It sure does make reviewing a breeze!
Now if you haven’t already made your outlines for class, borrow mine and start building on it! Don’t waste time going back to create something I’ve already made for you… Afterall, if you have watched my Screen Cast on building effective outlines, you’ll know that this is a pre-reading strategy.

Wow, this is so helpful!
Thanks a lot
You’re welcome Yasaman! I’m glad it helped.
I’m actually making a little survey to send out to the mailing list to determine what everyone would like to see on the site in the future!
I think this will help me focus the content a little bit and deliver the most valuable stuff first!
